HP ProLiant DL580 G7 upholds no.1 leadership performance on the SPECvirt_sc2010 benchmark and sets WORLD RECORD on VMmark 2.1 benchmark

With an outstanding result of 3,802@234 VMs (39 tiles) on the SPECvirt_sc2010 benchmark, the HP ProLiant DL580 G7 has maintained its no.1 4-socket performance record. This benchmark measures the end-to-end performance of all system components, including the hardware, the virtualisation platform, the virtualised guest operating system and the application software. The ProLiant DL580 G7’s results are therefore excellent proof points of a superior virtualisation platform.
