    One question

Q:  IT skills gap—fact or fiction?

A: It’s a bit of both. We have outsourced roles within IT that we traditionally counted on to grow into leadership and senior skilled positions. Now we are seeing shortages for leadership roles (manager/director/vp) of development, enterprise architects, etc.  Additionally, I see job descriptions for roles that no normal human could ever fill. Employers feel that since the economy is struggling that they should hold out for the “perfect” candidate that simply doesn't exist.
